Apple TV Remote Range Extender

I have an Apple TV in a closet, 15 ft or so from where I use the remote. It has very poor connectivity. Wondering if there is an extender that I could use?

I just tested to operate my Siri Remote from 25 ft through two walls, and that worked fine (except for the visual part). It appears that your closet enclosure blocks some of the bluetooth radio signals, and/or there may be interference from other devices.

If this closet has more metal than a few screws, then it may not be suitable for the Apple TV box and its bluetooth connectivity.

Hello chawba,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about an Apple TV remote extender.

The Siri Remote uses Bluetooth technology: Siri Remote - Apple

"Wireless: Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology"

Apple does not make a type of extender, but you can check if you have interference in or around the path of your remote and the Apple TV: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference - Apple Support

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
