Hacked FaceTime?

Two of my contacts called me last night to tell me they had received FaceTime Calls from me and when they answered no one was there. I did not FaceTime them and there is no record of those calls on my devices. How can I keep this from happening?

Out of an abundance of caution, change your device passcode, change your Apple ID password, and check whether you recognize all of the devices associated with your Apple ID by using iCloud. If you do not have two-factor authentication enabled on your Apple ID, enable that.
