Today I received a Facetime Call containing 19 people. It had 4 numbers of my contacts that I recognized and routinely communicate with for work. I answered and one contact was my husband, the other two folks that answered we did not know. I do not want to disable FaceTime because we do use it to communicate with our grandparents, etc.
