Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

I am getting random calls from strangers through FaceTime. it shows an address from my contacts but is a random person. seems like some kind of hacking????

is there some kind of FaceTime hack going on? I am getting random calls. ID is from my contacts list but strangers are on the other end of the call???/

All calls like the one you received are scams/phishing attempts. They are made by criminals that prey on the unwary. Apple never would make a call like this. Apple only calls if a user if the user has arranged the call. Note that I am not aware that FaceTime is connected with such calls.

You also can Check your Apple ID device list (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205064and remove any device that shouldn't be signed in using the steps in the link.

 

If there are none that shouldn’t be signed in, then you should not have a problem at this point. But, if an unauthorized device is signed in, Change your Apple ID password https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201355 (assuming you have not already done so).
