I accidentally set up my moms new iPad for mail at iCloud ams

I need to add gmail to mail on inpad. I accidentally set up iCloud and now I cannot figure out how to add her and dads gmail accounts, help

Switch emails and set up Icloud so I need some advice- my mom signed up years ago with an "@gmail.com" as the iCloud account on her iPhone. The system keeps asking to set up an "@icloud.com" but she is afraid that if I create the iCloud email that she will lose her messages and contacts. Is there a way to keep but set up the iCloud account?

Settings->Mail->Accounts->Add Account. Select Google and proceed from there by adding gmail address and password. Repeat for other parent.
