Videos freezes when screen mirroring

Videos freeze when screen mirroring from any iphone or ipad to my Apple TV 4K. When it plays its very choppy and annoying.

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. From our understanding, any time you mirror your iPhone or iPad to your Apple TV, it freezes, do we have that right? Have you checked for any updates for the Apple TV? Check out How to update your Apple TV.

You can also check for any updates for the iOS/iPadOS: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

There are a few steps you can try here: If AirPlay or screen mirroring isn’t working on your device
