Error setting up Family sharing Apple Cash

When I try add my child for Apple Cash. Says “This person already has Apple Cash enabled”.

You have to go here and get the account closed - Manage your Apple Cash account (it needs a zero balance too) then go here - Set up and use Apple Cash Family

cannot set up apple cash for family as it says the person already has apple cash enabled i am trying to set up my kid in apple cash family. he tried setting it up and got stuck on the verification. Then we figured out we needed the family route, now when i get to the end of setting him up it says he already has it enabled. how do we get past this?

Trying to set up family share Apple cash I’m trying to set up Apple Cash for my child under 18. When I go through all the steps and try to enable Apple Cash from her phone it says “This iCloud account cannot be used for Apple Pay” what am I doing wrong?
