This just showed up tonight. Have tried rebooting it and doing the new software update. It is a 32GB 4K Apple TV. I have only had it for a couple weeks. The black bar only shows up on Apple TV, so it’s not the tv.
Has anyone seen this before?
Is this just in the settings app or any other screens or apps?
For now try force quitting all apps- Double click the home button to bring up the app switcher, swipe sideways to the apps, then swipe up to close each App you have open.
Unplug the unit for a few minutes. Then test
As it turns out, I think it somehow had to do with my AV receiver. I did unplug the Apple TV and HDMI cables, but I think the real fix was resetting my receiver. Thanks for the reply!
