iPad Pro Magic Keyboard Easel Mode

I have seen on some websites and forums people talking about an “easel mode” for magic keyboard

I have heard of two variations, one with the iPad angled with the bottom along the edge of the keyboard below the last row of keys and leaned against the the monitor stand

Another is flipping the magic keyboard around like you would do for the smart folio keyboard mode

Both seem to get the job done but I just don’t want to risk pushing the hinges the wrong way or putting pressure on areas that aren’t designed to take it. Does anyone have any information or experience about this?

I share your concern, so I bought an inexpensive folio from Amazon. When I want to use my iPad in drawing or writing mode, it's just so easy to lift the iPad off the Magic Keyboard and put it in the folio.

I got this for my iPad Pro 11 --https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083TC1125/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If you have the 12.9, they have one for that as well and the price can't be beat.
