Can't delete emails on iPhone in iOS 14

Since updating to iOS 14 I can’t delete mail on my phone. I’ve tried swiping left and clicking delete from the list view and also going to the email itself and clicking on the trash icon. Neither works. It has nothing to do with my mail server, as I am easily able to delete emails on my Mac.

I just had the same issue, it’s seems to be something to do with verifying your email account and it’s easy to fix.

Go to: Settings > Mail > Accounts, select the appropriate account. Select “Re-Enter Password” and then enter the password for that account.

The password can also be found in settings if you’ve saved it on your phone.
