Is my iphone6 capable of using the NHS Covid track and trace app? I cannot download the app, it says I need iOS 13.5. I am up to date with iOS 12.4.8 Can I download the latter? If so where/how?

Sorry no. Your iPhone model 6 cannot support iOS versions beyond 12.4.8, because of hardware incompatibility.
