Can't connect with FTP anymore

My 2017 Macbook Pro 13" with touchbar does not work anymore with different ftp-clients. I use Cyberduck and Panic's Transmit, but none of these works. The error I get is that it's not possible to connect. This is something only happens on my Macbook, my Mac Mini works fine just like it worked before on my Macbook. Does anyone know if there is maybe a setting thats wrong in my Mac? I looked on the internet, but there is nothing that helped yet.

I am unable to use several of the ftp apps on my Mac Book Air with High Sierra, the port number 22 is rejected and nothing else seems to work I recently installed High Sierra OS on my MacBook Air. Now, the ftp protocol does not function. I have tried several of the available file transfer app's with no success. They fail because Port 22 does is not allowed. One has to use a port number greater than 1024 and there is no glue as to what number will work. Any ideas?

Disable FTP Passive Mode in MacOS Ventura Greets: I have ran into an issue when using Cyberduck with MacOS Ventura. Whenever I attempt to upload a file on my web server, Cyberduck would return an FTP error of 229, something about FTP passive mode. I have done a Google Search, and most refer to disabling FTP passive mode, but the info seems specific to the earlier System Preferences. They referenced going to Proxies setting in Network to specifically disable it. I could not find it, but there was a section to "Bypass" proxies that allowed me to add the domain name of my web server, which I did, though I'm not at all certain that this is correct. When I tried uploading the file again and ended up with the same error, I knew that I needed some assistance to resolve this issue. I am hoping that posting here will led to just that. Cyberduck SFTP Connection failures on Mojave I am getting repeated "Connection failed" errors in Cyberduck 7.3.1 on my iMac running Mojave. Since I'm having the same problem with two different hosting companies (Flywheel and Go Daddy) I've been focusing on the Cyberduck app as the issue. I know I have the correct settings and info entered in CD, and SSH enabled with both hosts. In my efforts to resolve this, I've tried: Changing password at each host Deleting known_host files Uninstalling and downloading a clean copy of CD purchased from the App store Checking "Remote login" in System Preferences/Sharing What else might try, short of trying a different FTP client? I'm willing to do that if i can't resolve CD but would prefer to keep using CD -- I've had it for a long time and it has worked welll up until a few days ago. What did I change at that time? Nothing... it just stopped connecting. Help appreciated, TIA
