How to recover voice memo

My voice memos from last year seem to have disappeared from my phone, how do I restore and recover them please? I just started using iCloud recently, am not sure it was ever saved or backed up on any file, where else can I search to recover please? I have searched all files but I still have not been able to view the list of voice memos I have on iCloud, Would it be the same as I have it on the Voice Memo App? If the answer is yes, please you have to help try and get most of my memos from last year. Tell me how pls.
