Apple Watch Series 5 elevation.

I normally go to the compass app to check elevation, which is a feature of S5. But ever since watchOS 7 was released, the elevation section in the compass app has gone. I have tried restarting both my iPhone and watch, and still no luck. May I know if elevation was suddenly no longer available in my region (Singapore), was it disabled by software, or something else. I would like to hear from anyone who has similar view or found a solution. Thanks
