On iPhone Xs iOS 14 and 14.0.1, camera click makes a loud sound when Portrait mode is used

I have same problem on SE2020 since IOS 14. I spoke whit Apple support and they saId that i normal situation, but when i called it BUG they didnt agree whit me........Anyway a lot of users have it and they know about it!

I have this exact issue— it’s definitely since the iOS 14 release, and every time an update is issued I check to see if it’s still an issue. It’s shockingly loud, and somewhat alarming.

I had the same issue and did the following to try and resolve:

• 'Reset all settings' in general
• You have to redo all your settings. I found that if I disable 'system haptics', i found the problem came back. so i leave system haptics enabled and updated other settings and it seems to not have such a loud shutter sound

Same thing has been happening to me since iOS 14 update. I tried resetting and turning on sound haptics but it still happens. It literally goes from low shutter on all the other modes to extremely loud shutter sound on portrait.

Yes this problem I also have on my iPhone XS .. iOS 14 ... camera is making extra loud sound in portrait mode and also in whatsap chat when you select to take a photo directly in a chat ...

I am having the same problem. It's the camera shutter in all modes for me and only started after I updated to iOS 14.0.1
