Can I remove the orange dot after iOS 14 update?

You’re surprised by this? At a time when every day you hear people saying that COVID is fiction, that doctors (apparently in the most massive conspiracy in the history of humankind) are inflating deaths to up their profits, and any one of hundreds of other paranoid delusions about the real world, held by a disturbingly large proportion of the population.

Nothing people believe, regardless of facts or absence of actual evidence, shocks me any more.

By all means get an Android phone. You won’t have to worry about being spied on, because all Android phones contain hidden spyware, so you will know in advance without having to look for an orange dot.

I can't receive phone or call out most of the time. It takes people calling me over and over to get through. I need my phone to work like a phone. I have done what it says to remove it It doesn't work. Why does an app need to record your phone call? My conversion with other people should have nothing to do with the apps I use. To me that innovation of privacy. I think it's ridiculous that we the people/ your customers have to deal with it. My daddy is stage 4 cancer and I don't need this issue with my phone. I need to be able to receive and call out with out having to worry if someone is recording or listing in

If you look at Demo's response, it was not addressed to you. Nothing to be worried about, they were not being sarcastic with you.

And of course the most likely suspect is the cell service provider.

They don’t, but they can easily do so...far easier than Apple could. And only one cell provider I know of saves the text of text messages.

Yes we do and we have a ton of people who seem never to have been in a studio, or city council meeting or anything else where a light appears to tell you that you have a hot mic (or camera).

Maybe if more people when to city council meetings, times would be a bit less strange.....

Those are a great place to go to and maintain social distancing without a problem.

It’s not a big deal to me either. I came here like most to see what the orange dot was. But our phones can be recorded at any time and we would never know it.
