I have a couple locked notes and they were unlocking perfectly fine with my face id before I got ios14 but now only one of them unlocks with my face id and the rest is asking for a password which i have forgotten due to the fact ive been using face id a lot. I tried resetting my password but clearly that doesnt unlock my notes because they were locked before the password was changed. Can anyone assist me with this please?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to recover them without that original password specific to those locked notes. As you have already learned, resetting the password only resets it for use with new notes.
