Hi, I bought an app on my iPad and I was wondering if it's possible to download the app on my Macbook (with the same Apple ID) for 'free' too. Free since I already paid it on the iPad. On my iPhone I can but on my Macbook it doesn't sow that I already bought the app before. Is this a glitch or is it supposed to be like this?
For most apps this is expected behaviour. Because the iPad and Mac use different operating systems, they require different versions of a particular app. Thus the apps are created differently, and charged as separate purchases.
