iphone 11 Pro Max is frozen following 14.0 update.

iphone 11 Pro Max is frozen following 14.0 update. Doing a soft reset by using the volume keys and the side key does nothing. Plugged device into computer but itunes will not load because it does not trust the phone. When I hit trust on the phone it is not responsive so I cannot get itunes to see device. What is the solution?
