How to stop receiving undeliverable email notification

A message sent to a faulty iCloud email address keeps bouncing back to my inbox “undeliverable” every hour. I’ve deleted the address in my contacts and muted the email. Didn’t help. How do I stop the undeliverable email from bouncing back to my inbox?

Icloud Email Hi. I hope someone out there can help me. I am having issues with my icloud account regarding emails. I have become aware of the problem this week, where some e-mails are received and some are not arriving (checked Junk and they are not in there). Emails are sending ok. Can anyone shed some light on whats happening, as it's really annoying at the moment. I have tried sending an email to myself from my work email to my icloud account, and it has not arrived. Send mail failing using hide my email “The Hide My Email address you’re sending from is no longer available. It may have been deleted or deactivated.” I get this message (alert box) when I try to respond to an email I received on this hose me email address. Using Apple Mail app. yes - I checked, and the email address is still active in iCloud settings. iOS 15.6.1 / iPhone 11 Pro Max. Thanks in advance Ajay

I sent it to junk and it stopped. But I’ll keep this in mind in case it happens again and sending it to junk doesn’t work. Thanks.

You can try setting up a rule - Set up rules to filter email in Mail on iCloud.com - Apple Support.
