Sending an email from a smart group in Contacts

This used to work but stopped working a while back. It does not matter if I type the name of the group in Mail or if I right-click on the smart-group and choose the "Send an email to "Name_of_the_group".

This broke some time ago - does anyone have a work around?

I have testet that it will work, if I create a regular group in Contacts but I prefer to use "Smart group" for a reason.... :)

If I use Send an email to... It expands the list of names.

If I type in the Group Name, it won't expand or even seem to take the name of the group. But, if I have it selected and tab out to the next field, it will send to the recipients of the group.

Obviously broken, and this being a .7 update, I can't imagine they'll release another that could possibly fix the problem.
