Health App not communicating properly with other apps

Since the update to ios 14 my health app is not accurately communicating with basically any of my other apps. It doesn't download all the data from my watch (steps, total distance, active cal, etc). It doesn't export or import data correctly to other workout tracking apps on my phone (like zones) or to calorie tracking apps (like yazio). Everything is at least a little off, and it's not even consistently off across different apps that track the same things.


This has been pretty frustrating. Being able to track all this data and see real accurate results has been a strong motivator for me to stick with improving my health and fitness. It's not like I'm going to stop b/c now my tech isn't working properly, but it's pretty annoying that all my data is now wrong and I can't get an accurate idea of what I'm doing over time.


I know there are known issues with workout tracking and gps mapping following watch ios7, but I haven't seen any posts specific to issues like this. I feel like this can't just be me since it's been an issue essentially across ALL my apps that tie into the health app.


Any ideas if a fix is being worked on? Or if there is a fix I can try outside of deleting/reinstalling the apps (because I've already done that with no change).

I am seeing the same thing. Via my Apple Watch for the last week my steps have been 10,469 11,465 13,122 10,196 12,019 and 12,160. On the health app these same steps are listed as 6,237 9,639 9,736 6,748 8,068 and 6,009


Also the "stand" bars are wrong. Like today I have stood for 8 hour so far, but health only shows 2 bars (but does correctly list 8 hours).


This all started with the IOS 14. It is very disappointing for them to break this and still not have fixed this. It hard to believe apple didn't know this was a problem before they released their update.
