APPLE WATCH

I'm thinking of buying a watch with cellular+GPS. Can this watch be used with an iphone thru bluetooth if I decide to not get cellular service for the watch at this time? Thanks

I just want to make sure that when I switch to a carrier that I'm pretty sure doesn't really support apple watches that it will still connect to my iPhone via bluetooth. Apple Watch Cellular Usage I am wanting to purchase an Apple Watch 7 GPS + Cellular, but my provider is not compatible. Does this matter? I know you can connect through Bluetooth to receive texts etc, so I am not worried about the cellular not working. Just wondering if it will still work ok without it. Thanks!
