Is it possible to login with AppleID on a Windows 10 computer and the Spotify App?

I am using Premium Service of Spotify on my Apple mobile devices, and have the abiility to login correctly with my Apple ID. On my windows desktop, when using the Spotify via the Browser I have the option to login via the Apple ID - and this works fine. When using the Microsoft app store and downloading the Spotify app, on my Windows 10 PC - and launching the Spotify App, there is no option to login using the AppleID. Any ideas as to why this is occuring? See below.

Sign In with Apple (What is Sign in with Apple? - Apple Support) is a service, just like sign in with FaceBook is, or sign in with Google is. Each App developer has to build in support for it in their app. Clearly the Spotify for Windows 10 app has done so for sign in with Facebook as your screen shot shows. They have not done it for Sign In with Apple apparently.


They apparently haven’t done it for sign in with google either, which is a bit surprising since Google owns Spotify.


But if the option is not there, then that is an issue with that App and the fact the owners/developers of that App have not built in support for the Sign In with Apple service into their App. Apple has nothing to do with that. They provide the service and the API to implement it. But each App’s developer has to build support for it into their app.

Michael, thank you for your reply. However it is not clear from what you have noted, whether or not there is support from the Microsoft App - to have the AppleId interface or - there never has been any support from the Microsoft (Spotify) app to have an apple id interface. It seems that when using the browser om a WIndows 10 OS - there is support for the AppleID login. Just wondering if anyone is able to confirm whether or not this is correct?
