iPad Pro (11-inch) (2nd generation) Doesn’t stay connected to Wi-Fi

I have a 1000 fiber plan and wifi extenders, but I’m having to turn the wifi off and on the iPad about every 5 minutes while on Safari. Can anyone tell me why, please? I’ve never had a problem staying connected with the older models.

is there a fix? My MacBook Pro and Apple TVs aren't having issues, so I’m pretty sure it’s the iPad.

thank you to anyone who can help!

Hey there Renny237,

We understand your iPad Pro is frequently disconnecting from Wi-Fi. We'll be happy to help.

To begin, we'd recommend going through the steps here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

These steps are specific to issues with Wi-Fi. Note that on step 5, it ask you to restart your modem and router. Even though your other devices are working OK, this step can still be beneficial to help refresh things.

If you still experience issues, adjusting your network may help too. Use this guide: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

And if it still happens, reach out to Apple Support directly for next steps: Get Support

We hope this helps. Cheers!
