How to allow Widgets to access my location on iPhone?

I chose not to allow Widgets to access my location when a popup message asked, but I changed my mind. How do I allow Widgets to access my location?

iPhone 8, iOS 14

Hi Shinehah,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you’re trying to allow widgets to access your location. We’re happy to help.

You will need to change access to Location Services per app (i.e. if you were trying to create a Weather widget, you would need to allow access for the Weather app).

You can find steps for doing so here:

Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

We hope this helps.

Take care.
