Battery health on 2020 MacBook decreasing rapidly.
Hi everyone,
I've had my MacBook for about a month and a half now and I've noticed that the battery health has dropped by 3% already, and is continuing to decrease at a rapid rate. This is strange because I keep my MacBook plugged in ALL the time, using it as a desktop far more than a laptop. Because of this most of the time the laptop is bypassing the battery and using the power adapter for the necessary power (as stated by the menu bar)
Furthermore, I went into the power section of the about Mac page and discovered that I only have a measly 15 charge cycles since the purchase of my device. A rough calculation shows that just by roughly 100 charge cycles my Mac will be down to 80% battery health! I read somewhere that this number should only be reached after 1000 or so charge cycles.
This concerns me a lot as I love everything about this Mac, but it seems my battery is already giving up the ghost :/
in this screenshot my MacBook is plugged in and fully charged, as it is most of the time.
