Mojave Printer 'Filter failed' Problem

With problems with my MacBook Pro mid-2012, I backed up the entire system on Time Machine and borrowed a friend's MacBook Air. After restarting the MacBook Air with Command+R, then totally erasing the computer, reinstalling Mojave and then recalling the Time Machine backup (along with reinstating all the things like Apple ID, DropBox identification, et al, I found that my Canon MX523 would not print - giving me the 'Filter Failed' problem. After turning myself inside out for 2 days trying to research everything, I noticed in the System Preferences > Printers and Scanners > Sharing Preferences that my Computer name was the name of my old MacBook Pro and not the name of the MacBook Air. I changed the name by 'Edit'ing the name so it matched the System Preferences > Sharing > Computer Name ... and life is good again - printing as usual. So ... this COULD be a fix for others with this issue.

MacBook Air 11″, macOS 10.14
