Am trying to restore my ipad (my son got it locked since he forgot his password) but getting the following error: The iPad “iPad” could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (9). any idea?
This is what it says to do at the end of the article if you still can’t restore the iPad.

Have seen this article but it didn't help. I get this error message again

Hopefully you went through all the steps thoroughly and carefully.
What did Apple Support tell you when you contacted them?
