My mac is useless, and I have lots of work to do.
Reading a lot on the internet about this problem.
There are many ’solutions’ of ordinary users (none of them working) and there is, total silence from Apple.
What now?

Have you tried booting in Safe Mode ( Shift key ) at startup? Have you tried downloading the 10.15.7 Combo Update and install in in Safe Mode.
Yes, I have installed the combo update and this has, untill now, solved this problem.

PS: If accountsd issue reappears, may want to download the Full Installer of Catalina >> Create a USB Installer and use it to do an in-place update. If doing this, make sure there is a very very recent Full Time Machine Backup and also a good bootable Clone
