I have deleted all the photos from my phone (there were about 40 GD) and now the "other" section is about 40 GB.


How to free the "other" section?

This "Other" storage consist of system files, cache, temporary files, etc.. For more details, you can also refer to this website: Clear Other storage on your iPhone or iPad

When you deleted all your photos from your phone, did you delete them from within the Photos App?


If so, did you also delete them from the Photos’ “Recently Deleted” folder?


(They’ll stay there for about 30 days, unless you restore them or delete them, from there.


It’s sort of like a “Trash” folder, on a computer.)
