Ethernet port on MacPro (2019)

I only saw one Ethernet port when I called up the System Report page of my MacPro (2019). Since the MacPro is supposed to have two gigabit ethernet ports, I wonder if anyone can give me some clue for how I can find the second one. Thanks in advance.

great!

remember that the ORDER that services are listed is important. Your internet packets will be sent to the TOPMost, Working interface in the System Preferences > Network list.

Fo a notebook computer that might occasionally be used on Ethernet, you put Ethernet as topmost, and when the cable is not plugged it, it will default to the next on the list, which should be Wi-Fi.

In your case, you need to take care that the network connected to your Router is on the TopMost, and if you use the other port for a private network it should be lower on the list.

Also, your Mac Pro 2019 has 10Gigabit Ethernet-over-copper, if you give it a Switch or device it can talk to at that faster rate.
