Greetings shrikant1303!

Looks like you are having some trouble with a popup message stating your SIM sent a text message. We can absolutely see how that would be confusing and want to get it resolved. You have done some awesome troubleshooting so far on this issue as well! Let's make 100% sure there is no carrier settings update available. When you checked for the update previously by going to Settings > General > About, were you connected to Wi-Fi or were you on cellular data? Try using the opposite network from the last time you tested and waiting on that settings page for a minute to see if any updates appear: Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad.

If no update appears and this issue continues, reach out to our direct support for more help: Get Support.

Take care!

After trying a lot of options like turning off imessages, Facetime, talking to Airtel Backend, etc. nothing seems to work and the message keeps on popping.

Airtel passed it on to Apple and seeing that a lot of people on Reddit with different carriers worldwide, are facing the same issue, it could be on Apple. Most of them are on dual sim iPhone 12's.

Airtel asked me if I had the same problem on my previous phone and when I said no, the only thing they could narrow it down was on the new phone. I don't want to move on to an esim, just for the convenience of a physical sim. I will wait for an iOs update, if that doesn't help, will move to an e-sim and if that too doesn't solve, will consider changing the operator.

Are all affected people using physical sim cards or this happens even with an e-sim?

I converted my one and only Airtel sim to an esim last evening. Lets see how that plays out. I tried to send ANOW to 58234 and nothing happened on my postpaid number. No confirmation/rejection. Infact, I had sent STOP to 155223 and I got a revert mentioning that flash messages are already disabled on my number. So , this pop-up has nothing to do with Flash messaging.

For anyone that is still following this. The text message from the sim card, is asking for permission to install the APN / MMS settings/software, whatever it is called.

On my LG phone, after the install, says "Your mobile device, is now configured for WAP Browsing GPRS, MMS, GPRS.

The iPhone shows the text asking for permission, but after accepting it, The iphone does nothing.

Thank you for ur reply, i talk to them twice but they said u dont have any flash msg to disable. There were saying please disable the broadcasting mag from msg setting, so i asked them , is that the ios setting? Then they said , sir ios does have that setting ,this is only for android. But i will reach again and again untill i got the solution 😊

Sir even I face the same issue since I was a android user and moved to iPhone now and I get this message frequently. I called Airtel and they said to remove broadcast something I asked her to do that and she said to go to Apple store . Too much. I have checked all videos related to this error. I think changing the SIM card can help . Let me know if you found a solution.
