iweb

I know iWeb has been discontinued but i had purposefully not updated my mac to stay on sierra so i can work our website (didn't have the time to do currently). But my mac updated to catalina when mistakenly left plugged in over night, couldn't then open iweb so had to reboot to an older time machine back up. unfortunately there was clearly some issues with time machine that i had not picked up and whilst i am now back on sierra and can open iWeb it doesn't have most recent pages (that are currently displayed on our live website??) All data is back dup on an external hard drive which i work from?? Anyone know where my newer pages are?

Likewise iPhoto seems to be playing up and won't load. It says i have 322GB of photos but having updated to catalina i can now not access these either??

iPhoto has been replaced with Photos. Launch Photos with the Option key held down and in the Choose Library window select your iPhoto library. It will be migrated to a Photos library.

As for iWeb you would be best served to migrate to a supported, up to date web authoring application. Many of the iWeb users have gone over to EverWeb because its GUI is much like iWeb and it allows drag and drop as well as copy and paste from existing websites into its own pages under development.

It has a demo version which lets you create your websites and preview them in browser like windows. If you like it and decide to purchase the license allows you to publish to a folder, a server or EverWeb's site.

There are many other candidates but with many of them you're limited to using one of their themes. With Everweb you can start with a blank page and build from the ground up.
