As a parent, I intend to purchase the new Apple Watch Series 6 and pair it with my iPhone 11. I'd like to buy my son an Apple Watch SE in order to utilize Family Setup. Question: Does my son's Apple Watch SE need to be GPS+Cellular in order to use Family Setup or can we go with just the GPS version?? Thanks!

I've read that page but it doesn't specifically mention which features cannot be used without having the Cellular version of the watch. Does my son need the cellular version in order to make calls when pairing to my phone? Does my son need a cellular plan himself to make a call?
