IOS 14.0.1 gives false indication of weak security on WiFi.

Why am I getting a "weak security" indication in settings for my 5GHz channel of my modem and not on my 2.4GHz channel? It actually seems to come and go. I have a Motorola AC1900 Router, Model # MG7550. When I started this post the "weak security" indication was showing in my WiFi settings. Now it's not showing. It seems to cycle between the two on its own. The 2.4GHz channel never changes. I have to change to the 2.4 channel because my phone won't connect when the indication shows up. This just started happening when I updated my IOS to 14.0.1. I've power cycled the modem, and it is set to WPA2-PSK with the encryption set to AES. Why is this happening?

Hello Kevmarcol58,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

Based on what you mentioned, it sounds like your Wi-Fi is not indicating that it's secure. Although your description sounds correct, please follow up on your configuration with Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points.

Be sure to check your VPNs, security software, parental controls, network optimization apps, and any profiles that may be added.

Best wishes!
