Apple software update wants to install new version on my guest Win OS

  • WiFi Update for Boot camp (6.4.0)
  • Boot camp update (6.1.9)
  • Boot camp update (6.1.10)

Current apple software update version is 2.3 and it came from bootcamp installation.

However when I click on update it fails with above message in the subject (for each component).

Please help!

.508 if the latest pre-relase version. I could update to 546 but Apple update release came way before that anyway so it should work. I don't see why would that work.

It seems to me that Apple update V2.3 was not signed with Win10 approved certificate and that is why this is happening (or it expired since then). The issue is that you cannot download manuals new one with perhaps new digital signature.

I am surprised that more don't have issue or it could be just that I am the last person using bootcamp :)
