on ipad when i bcc myself the email message doesnt come through, formatted wrong

I bcc: myself on all emails sent with the iPad email app. All was fine until I upgraded to iOS 14.1. I keep getting this message:

This message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted. Ask the sender to send it again using a different format or email program.

i hate upgrading! How do I change this so I can get the proper message?

I also have the issue when I type a sentence and then want to add something in the middle of the sentence, the first letter is always capitalized. I have to go back and put it in lower case.
