Since the iOS 14 update, my microphone and earbuds stopped working

Hi,

I have an iPhone 7. Ever since I downloaded the IOS 14 update, my microphone and earbuds stopped working. I reset my phone, and my earbuds worked for a second but then the sound turned static. Now my earbuds don't work at all. And my microphone fully stopped working. I'm very annoyed, as these are my most used features on my phone.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
