Why is the top left of my iPhone screen blurry?

My wife’s iPhone 12 had the same issue. Just toggle the zoom display in settings and it will go away.

Not sure how to replicate it, but I encountered the same issue. A potentially easier secondary way to fix it (without going into settings) is as follows:

Turn your phone so it’s oriented in landscape mode. Then pull down from the top to open notification center, then swipe from left to right to open the widget page of notification center. And that’s all there is to it lol

Because that’s what fixes it, I suspect it’s a bug having to do with the landscape widget page in notification center.

I did that, and it worked. But, then a couple minutes later it came back. By the way I have a problem that whenever I watch a youtube video something pops up from the side of my screen and I can’t get it off.

I had the same issue and when I restarted my phone my sound went out I can’t listen to music or play YouTube videos because my sound is not working I have my volume set to the max and have my ringer on and I tried restarting my phone again but I still couldn’t get any sound

Restarting the phone only temporarily fixes the issue. It has appeared on my iphone 11 Pro Max three times. Apple products definitely aren't what they use to be. Obviously, because they are recycling phone design now. -ha-

Started getting a similar screen a couple of days ago. Blurriness seems to be Home Screen related. Used the BOLD Letters solution mentioned earlier to get rid of the blurriness, but the fix lasted until the screen was rotated to landscape.

To remove the blurriness for good (or at least until the next apple update), I removed all of the widgets on the Home Screen. No more blurred screen, even after rotating to landscape.

However, when screen is rotated to landscape, I see the Home Screen Search. I can live with that for now.

JUST started happening this morning.

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14.3

Tried the Display & Brightness, Light/Dark fix and that works until phone is turned to landscape mode, then the blur comes back.

Restarted and for a few minutes, it hasn't come back.

Okay but what is the reason this is happening to many peoples expensive new phones?? Restarting does not fix everything

There are probably several ways to fix this, but the easiest is simply open settings, open Display and Brightness, then toggle BOLD letters. Turn it back off and voila, you’re all set.

I need some help here, because my iPhone X started heating up out of nowhere and then my screen ended up like this. I’m using iOS 14.4. Please help😭

I had same problem I just restarted

Go to Settings, Display & Brightness, toggle between Light and Dark then back to whatever scheme you prefer. That should reset your screen.
