Side car, will not connect

While working until I can get a Mac monitor I am wanting to use my sidecar, it uses it on my main account, but while I’m at work I do not use that account, it has the same IDs. When clicking on to connect, it does not connect, it states “ device times out” . I am really wondering what is going on cause it would help a lot in my office for my work load

Sidecar no longer works with Monterey and MBP I used Sidecar a lot. In the last few weeks though I upgraded my laptop to Monterey and replaced my iPad Pro with the 2021 model. Now I can't use sidecar at all. My iPad simply does not show up as another monitor. Anyone have this happen or know a fix? I swear one day I'll learn never to upgrade to a new MacOS for the first 6 months. They break more than they fix every single time

the operating system has started blocking the recognition of my non-MAC monitor My operating system is the Mac Ventura 13.01 on my MacBook Air. I purchased from the Apple Store a Belkin attachment so that I could use my SyncMaster 940bx monitor as a second display. It was working just fine for several months then, about a week ago, I got a pop message that asked whether I wanted to allow the device. I clicked yes. Now suddenly when the Mac operating system detects it is there, it will show it in Displays for a few seconds and then it will not recognize it. It is not the cable. It gave me flashbacks to the Microsoft Operating system days when the system was designed to knock out any competition. Does anyone know a work around or some other attachment device that will work? I am not purchasing a MAC monitor.

MacBook Air M1 2020 Monterey 12.1 Does not detect second and third monitor at the same time I have a MacBook Air M1 2020 Monterey 12.1, when I upgraded to this version I first had a problem where my second monitor was detecting the dimensions of 1920x1080, and my monitor is 1600x900 AOC 2036, I solved this problem by downloading the SwitchResX program that manages changing the default dimension to 1600x900 which fixed my first problem. I bought a new adapter to use a third monitor that is also a 1600x900 AOC 2036, but when I turn it on, the macbook does not recognize it. I'll call them Monitor 1 and Monitor 2 If I disconnect Monitor 1, Monitor 2 starts working and vice versa. (Proving it's not a problem with USB-C to HDMI adapters) Apparently the Mac is recognizing the 2 as the same, which is causing conflict I've tried resetting NVRAM, SMC and etc, but it didn't work.

Hard to tell from your post exactly what you're trying to use with Sidecar. This link explains the requirements you must have for it to work --> Use your iPad as a second display for your Mac with Sidecar - Apple Support
