Side car, will not connect

While working until I can get a Mac monitor I am wanting to use my sidecar, it uses it on my main account, but while I’m at work I do not use that account, it has the same IDs. When clicking on to connect, it does not connect, it states “ device times out” . I am really wondering what is going on cause it would help a lot in my office for my work load

Hard to tell from your post exactly what you're trying to use with Sidecar. This link explains the requirements you must have for it to work --> Use your iPad as a second display for your Mac with Sidecar - Apple Support
