MP4 player for Catalina

Just installed iOS Catalina 10.15.7 .......now QuickTime won’t play MP4 files. What is recommended replacement?

iPad Air, iPadOS 14

Try to reset QuickTime Player prefs or try another user account. YMMV but besides QT Player I use IINA or VLC.
