Why does the mouse on my MacBook Air keep disappearing?

I am using only the trackpad on my MacBook Air and lately the mouse keeps disappearing. I use the "Command plus tab" function and that doesn't really seem to help. I also use the 3 finger swipe up from the bottom, which helps, but the mouse just keeps disappearing. What do I do to fix this?

Hello Mamadrama76,

Sounds like you're having issues with your cursor disappearing.

Best thing to do when this occurs is to switch apps and go back to the one where it disappeared. If the cursor still doesn't appear try closing any open apps by pressing Command + Q on your keyboard.

We'd also recommend ensuring your macOS is fully updated. If not, you'll find help with updating the software on your Mac here: How to update the software on your Mac

Lastly, it may also help to reset your NVRAM. For more info on doing so, please go through: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac

We hope these steps help with resolving your issue, however if the issue persists, don't hesitate to let us know.

Take care.
