Adding an Asus external slim DVD-RW
Can you take me through the steps to installing this device on a MacBook Air laptop. I am fairly unfamiliar with the device.

Any external burner needs a port/cable that'll plug into your Mac and that'll depend on your model/year. That is all. The device needs nothing else. You will not see the device icon on your desktop when it is empty - an icon for whatever media you put in will show up once loaded.
