I have bought a new MacBook Air 2020 but I can't start the handwriting Chinese input. I have installed in MacOs but somehow it doesn't show up in keyboard screen. In the past you can see it in the tab with the other language setting but no it doesn't show up. It is installed because it shown there. How can help me?
I looking for Chinese mandarin - handwriting option. no option for handwriting. Normally you will see it in under dutch flag

is there a flag (mine Canada) in the toolbar between the time and battery icon?
if so click "show keyboard viewer"
also try looking in keyboard input sources
the language you are looking for might be titled "Mandarin" "Hunan" :Cantonese"
etc because there is no such language called Chinese.
I use the 日本語 option to type in hiragana and kanji
