installed apps do not appear on homescreen

Newly installed apps do not appear on home screen. All home-screens are made active and are shown. Newly installed apps however appear on iOS automatically made groups.

Settings > Home Screen > Add to Home Screen [Tick]

Probably you have selected [App Library Only] for Newly downloaded apps. See the pic below
