Apple Music changed localisation suddenly - revert it back?

Hi. I live in Brazil but have my Mac set up to English. Suddenly the Music App decided to localize to Portuguese. Meaning that playlist titles in the "for you" section and album reviews, etc are all in Portuguese despite the rest of the app remaining in english (for instance the sidebar). This was a recent occurrence and I did not change anything in my Mac settings that I am aware of. Even stranger, on my phone, the Music app continues to be all in English.

Does anyone know how to revert it back to English on my Mac?

Hi ric.ohmaciel,

We appreciate you reaching out through Apple Support Communities for help with the language shown in the Music app on your Mac. We're glad to look into this with you and help sort it out.

Let's ensure we understand exactly what's going on. Are you noticing any other apps on your Mac are now showing in Portuguese?

If so, let us know if the information in this guide helps to reconfigure your language settings:

Change Language & Region Apps preferences on Mac

If this is only occurring in the Music app, be sure to click on the Apps tab to see if Music alone is set to show Portuguese.

We're here for you if you've got any questions!

Have a great day.
