Notes app - wrong colors on dark mode (at switching modes)
Hello everyone,
there is an issue with dark mode and Apple's notes app.
Reproduction:
-
- Set your environment to light mode.
- Write some text in a new note in notes app.
- Select the written text and set the text to another color, maybe one from the default system color preset.
- Let notes app open (or close it, it doesn't matter) and turn your system environment to dark.
- At this moment the colors (or should be the same).
- BUT: Select this text again and mark it with the same color as before (in light mode).
-
Expected: No changes to color code or color as it is.
Result: Colors changes (e.g. from blue to cyan) and in some cases (color codes) you can't read the text.
I'm working at the day with light and at the evening in dark mode.
And when I work in dark mode and write a lot of notes I also mark this notes with colors.
So, if I switch back to light mode my text is often just unreadable.
Does anyone know how to fix this terrible bug?

This company tells us at every event how big, cool and wonderful they are.
But, since Steve Jobs is gone the design and quality of their software goes down. (Just take a look at big sur ...)
P.S. I have a couple (many) other bugs noticed, but with that bugs I can do my work.
This bug gets me crazy. This is a reason, why people use other third-party software and pay for it. Just because Apple ist'n able to make enough quality checks.
Need help.
Otherwise I'll go with evernote or something where everything works as expected and is approved.
Thanks a lot to everyone who has a workaround or hack.
Peace
