Please make clear. The post here is in High Sierra Forum but the issue is about Catalina. Is Catalina the macOS on the computer where Kindle App is installed?
If we are talking about Catalina then make certain the Kindle App is a 64 bit application. Catalina ONLY Supports 64 bit applications. If the App is 32 bit - it will not work. Check with the Developer if they have a 64 bit version

No, you did not understand the question, she's saying Kindle will no longer download books into the Kindle app, not that Kindle app (the program) doesn't download. Your help is worthless as ever.........
Yes that is correct. Sorry I did not word it clearer. I cannot get the app to open now. It starts and then just stops completely. I have deleted it and downloaded it again with no success. I got it to work once in the security mode but not normally. Has anyone had the same problems? Have run out of ideas now.
